The ongoing war in Ukraine has forced thousands of young people to leave their homes and rebuild their lives far from everything familiar. The emotional impact of conflict and prolonged crises deeply affects how young people make financial decisions — from managing basic daily expenses to planning for the future.

Through the FINLIT for Rural NEET Empowerment project, we are committed to supporting these refugee youth by providing essential tools to help them regain independence, confidence, and hope.

How FINLIT Helps

The project focuses on three main pillars:

  • 💡 Financial literacy: Teaching young people how to manage money, budget effectively, and make informed financial decisions in a new country.
  • 💻 Digital skills: Equipping participants with the ability to navigate online tools and access new opportunities.
  • 💬 Guidance and support: Helping youth rebuild confidence, find their voice, and regain a sense of control over their lives.

Voices of Resilience

The active involvement of Maria Yarotska (Edu2Grow) and Olesia Malovana (Ukraine Hub) has brought real stories, real needs, and genuine determination to our activities. These remarkable young women are more than participants — they are voices of resilience and change, representing the courage, hope, and strength of Ukrainian youth displaced by conflict.

Their contributions allow us to tailor our support to the realities of refugees, ensuring that educational activities, mentorship, and financial guidance respond directly to their unique challenges and aspirations.
